About Glendalough, WA

Location & Public Transport
Glendalough is a suburb situated about 6 kilometres north-west of Perth City.  Glendalough Train Station is about a five-minute walk from the apartments and is only two stops from the Perth City Trainstation.  Both the number 15 bus (which travels along Harborne St) and the number 400 bus (which travels along Scarborough Beach Road) will take you into the city, terminating at the Wellington St Bus Station.

To get to Scarborough Beach, any of the number 400, 408 or 410 buses will take you from Scarborough Beach Road directly to the beach precinct.

Shopping
The apartments are just around the corner from Glendalough Village shopping centre, which is located on the corner of Jon Sanders Drive and Harborne St.  The Village has a newsagent, pharmacy, baker, deli, Asian takeaway, pizzeria, and an IGA where you can do all your food shopping.  The complex also includes a Subway and liquor shop.

If you are looking to go shopping for items like clothes or birthday presents, Westfield Innaloo Shopping Centre is easily accessible.  You can hop on either the 400 or the 402 buses along Scarborough Beach Road and they will stop outside the centre.  The 413 bus (from outside Glendalough Train Station) will also take you to the centre.  Perth City also has a large range of shops to choose from, most of which are also open on Sundays from 12 noon - 5pm.  If you are in Perth, it's easy to catch any bus on Wellington St heading north, and get off at Harbour Town, an outlet centre for discount clothes, shoes, homewares, and electronics.  Harbour Town is also open on Sundays from noon until 5pm.
